Zaurus Manager communication settings

to change the Zaurus Manager communication settings, the program requires zaurus to be plugged in to the pc. this is not practical if using bt for wireless communication. to resolve this, change the setting by modifying the .ini file:

c:\Program Files\Common Files\Sharp\SL\SSPCLINK2\comset.ini

setting "Device" accordingly:

Device = 0 (serial)
Device = 1 (usb-i/o)
Device = 2 (usb-tcp/ip)

Qtmail crash

sometimes, the Qtmail crashes (can't open after clicking the icon and quit automatically). usually, this is due to problem in either the dtm files or config files.

dtm files are located in /home/zaurus/Applications/dtm

• *.idx, *.box => select an empty folder (slinbox, sloutbox, slmtrash) and copy to suspected corrupted files

config files are located in /home/zaurus/Settings

• qtmail.conf, qtmail_account.conf => mv to another filename to let the qtmail create a default

this can bring up the Qtmail but the config and data will be lost! use it only if no other method
